RNAseq Workflow
Illumina Tru-Seq RNA-seq protocol
RNA-seq (RNA-sequencing) is a technique that can examine the quantity and sequences of RNA in a sample using next generation sequencing (NGS). It analyzes the transcriptome of gene expression patterns encoded within our RNA.
Our current workflow includes:
-
Pre-process the raw high-throughput sequencing data.
-
Produce gene-level count matrices using normalising offsets.
-
Find statistically significant, differentially expressed genes.
-
Perform pathway and gene ontology analyses.
-
Generate different visualisations of the results.
Single-cell RNAseq Workflow
10x ChromiumTM Single Cell 3’ Solution
Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) technologies allow the dissection of gene expression at single-cell resolution, which greatly revolutionizes transcriptomic studies. A number of scRNA-seq protocols have been developed, and these methods possess their unique features with distinct advantages and disadvantages.
Our current workflow includes:
-
Pre-process the raw high-throughput sequencing data.
-
Feature selection
-
Dimensionality reduction
-
Clustering and assigning identity
-
Differential expression tests
-
Perform pathway and gene ontology analyses.
-
Generate different visualisations of the results.
